Let’s imagine this Sabbath I decide to put a basin of water just inside the entryway to the room in which we worship. You see me come in, dip my hand in it, and bless myself by making the sign of the cross. And then as I go to sit down, I kneel beside my seat and bless myself again. For sake of discussion: Is there anything necessarily wrong with doing those things? The action is relatively harmless in-and-of-itself. But, what kind of message would that convey? Does it line up with who we are in Messiah and what we are trying to convey at our Sabbath meetings?
Gehazi
Gehazi is any interesting figure to me. He had the incredible privilege of serving under the great prophet Elisha. Can you imagine what that must have been like? I mean, wake up every morning knowing that you’ll be hanging out with Elisha. It doesn’t get much better than that. I sometimes try to imagine what it would have been like if I had been able to hang around a great man of God like this. How would his life impact me? Would I be satisfied and fulfilled just by knowing the wonderful opportunity God had provided for me?

"The Plague of His Own Heart"
I’m presently reading through I Kings. Verses 22-61 are Solomon’s prayer of dedication after the Ark is brought into the Temple. As I was going through this chapter, I found my heart once again longing for the time when we will actually be in the presence of our Saviour Yeshua as He rules and reigns upon this earth.
