"Discouraged Because Of The Way"

I wonder how many of God’s people walk around with a smile on their faces only because they would feel vulnerable to express where they really are in their journey with the Lord? But the truth is, that when God saves a person’s soul, He doesn’t plant a permanent smile on our faces. Real people aren’t always “up.” Everyone, at one time or another, gets to the place where things just seem overwhelming. It’s at that point we have to decide how we are going to move forward.

"The Plague Has Begun"

Back in 1976 I heard my Baptist hero of the faith Lester Roloff preach. Amongst other things, he said: Homosexuality will be the end-time sin that will bring America down. Everytime I heard Lester preach I’d soak it all in and try as best I could to absorb what he taught and preached. But to be honest, I sat there that day and said to myself: Lester, I love you but this time I honestly think you’re wrong.

There we were on my friend’s motorcycle taking the 30 minute ride to the church we were invited to attend. I’m glad my friend knows how to get there because I have no idea.
