I think it’s good to reflect now-and-then on our salvation experience in Yeshua. Those of us who have been saved through the shed blood of Yeshua upon the cross are living examples of the grace of God. We are testimonies to the life changing power of the Holy Spirit who now lives within each one of us who are redeemed.

I must admit I’m starting to feel rather stupid writing these blogs. It appears that very few if any read them — unless I happen to ask some folks if they’ve read them. But, I’m going to write anyway. There may come a point in time where the things I write may touch and minister to someone somewhere. I hope, and trust, that will happen.
Rituals and Heresies
Let’s imagine this Sabbath I decide to put a basin of water just inside the entryway to the room in which we worship. You see me come in, dip my hand in it, and bless myself by making the sign of the cross. And then as I go to sit down, I kneel beside my seat and bless myself again. For sake of discussion: Is there anything necessarily wrong with doing those things? The action is relatively harmless in-and-of-itself. But, what kind of message would that convey? Does it line up with who we are in Messiah and what we are trying to convey at our Sabbath meetings?
