Proverbs 19:23 —The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. This is one of the verses I review every now-and-then. It’s been quite awhile since I reviewed it. When I did, it hit me once again with a renewed freshness.

I think it’s good to reflect now-and-then on our salvation experience in Yeshua. Those of us who have been saved through the shed blood of Yeshua upon the cross are living examples of the grace of God. We are testimonies to the life changing power of the Holy Spirit who now lives within each one of us who are redeemed.

Growing up as a kid both sets of grandparents had cottages. Summer was the best. I was at one or the other every weekend. I loved the lakes. One lake didn’t allow motorboats and the other did. So, both had their own special appeal. A lot of wonderful times were spent at both of these places.

My first musical experience was when I was around eight years old. I talked my older sister into letting me listen to one of her Elvis LPs. She let me listen to Elvis’ first Golden Records LP. She had put so many scratches in it that I couldn’t do much more damage. I was hooked. And, still am
