My Messianic Musings

All The Ingredients Are Necessary

Why aren’t we scared to death by what we have done to God’s Word? Why is it that folks accept, without question, the changes that have been made to God’s Word? We should shutter at what we have done — all under the guise of “Jesus did away with the Law.”

And Yet Another Variation On A Theme “Is It Lawful?”

It wasn’t ever easy for me to slice up the Bible like a pie or cake. If God is anything, He is a unified, consistent, uncomplicated God. The reality that we tend to think otherwise is proof once again that we try to create God in our own image: a discombobulated, inconsistent, complicated mess.

I, for one, refuse any longer to believe God is anything less than He is. He is, always has been, and always will be the same yesterday, today and forever.

"Is It Not Lawful?"

(This is not the same as last week’s blog)

“Is It Not Lawful?”

Matthew 20:13-16

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

I read this passage this morning. It seemed appropriate to write about this especially in light of last week’s blog: “It Is Not Lawful.”
